THE APPROACH
Kept running, not
left to you.
Finding time to keep a website updated and secure is a challenge when you're busy running a business. Website management takes that off your plate.

Every month runs the same way: check for core, plugin and theme updates, take a full backup, apply and test everything on a staging copy before it touches the live site, then send you a short plain-English summary of what changed. Security scans run daily in the background. If something breaks, it's my problem to catch and fix, not yours to notice.

THE BASELINE
What's included
WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates kept current
Regular backups, so nothing is ever at risk
Performance monitoring and optimisation
Security updates handled promptly, not left to pile up
Direct support when something needs fixing or changing
HOW IT WORKS
How it works
A short discovery call to understand what you're running and what you need, followed by a straightforward proposal, then ongoing management with monthly billing and no long tie-in contracts.
Whether the site was built by Fractal Studio or somewhere else, existing WordPress sites can usually be brought on board without any disruption to how they currently run. Based in Stirling, working with businesses across Stirling, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, and remotely with clients across the UK.

COMMON QUESTIONS
About Website Management
What's included in monthly website management?
Core, theme, and plugin updates, regular backups, security monitoring, and direct support when something needs fixing, covered in full in the list above.
Do you only manage sites you built?
No, existing WordPress sites can usually be brought on board without disruption, whoever built them originally.
Is there a minimum contract length?
No long tie-in contracts: it's monthly billing, so you can stop whenever it no longer makes sense for you.
What happens if my site goes down or gets hacked?
You're contacted directly and it gets fixed as a priority, not queued behind other tickets. Regular backups mean a clean restore point is always available if it's ever needed.
Can you also make small content changes, not just technical updates?
Yes, day-to-day changes (updating text, swapping images, adding a page) are covered by direct support, not treated as a separate billable request every time.
How will I know what's actually being done each month?
A summary report covers what was updated, checked, and backed up, so management stays visible rather than happening silently in the background.
